CONRAD returns with new sonics that have been conjured almost a decade ago. Presenting 'Exu.21: Voodooesque Nightshades, Her Embrace & His Alluring Ways'. A series of unfinished material that have remained in silence for 9 years due to inconsistencies and internal struggles within the band.

Exu.21 is a ritualistic offering to the glorious entities known as EXU & POMBAGIRA, who rule within the Afro-Brazilian cult of Quimbanda. This anthology is inspired by the teachings of Nicholaj de Mattos Frisvold.

Here, the 7 Kingdoms of EXU & the Queendoms of POMBAGIRA are glorified through a series known as REINOS.

Come, be intrigued and baptized by the spellcraft of Emdeka Exuma through his journey within the realms of Voodooesque pandemonium and ceremonial magick.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

Bought this for Pierce Williams. Everything else is good too, but Pierce is one of the best drummers in death metal. The band is quite cerebral but reasonably accessible. A good mix of technicality, brutality, and atmosphere. Cool vocals. Metallurgical Fire
